Please join us for our next chat in #readers_corner at 8:30 P.M. (EST) July 18. 2020 -- 01:30 A.M. (GMT) -- for a discussion of "The Things Loretta Can’t Have . . ." by Kristen M. Ploetz. From the July 10, 2020 of the Saturday Evening Post. This is a bit longer than I normally choose, but it reminds me of something I can't quite articulate, possibly some of you may understand this. She browsed turquoise color chips at the hardware store, looking for something deeper than the Tiffany’s box that cradled the gaudy engagement ring her sister Tawny just received, but something lighter than the Caribbean pics her former co-worker Daphne posts on Instagram during couples getaways. The story is available on line at: http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories/UBooks/StaLad.shtml Meeting Place: #Readers_Corner Webchat: https://tinyurl.com/y59x7gs4 mIRC Users: /server -m chat3.koach.com:6667 -j #readers_corner I hope to see you all at our chat. IIRC, That roll is called a Kaiser Roll, quite popular on the est coast here, people even eat them for snack breaks with just some butter on them sort of like a pastry.

Please join us for our next chat in #readers_corner at 8:30 P.M. (EST) July 11. 2020 -- 01:30 A.M. (GMT) -- for a discussion of Skeleton in the Cellar by Alexander Richardson. At first glance, this may appear to be a Horror story. Rest assured it is not. I would categorize this as a humorous story of the other than natural. Here's what a color popup should look like with mirc 2(((4(((7(((8((((12(((13(((4 $1 13)))12)))9)))8)))7)))4)))2))) The blocks are the CTRL codes for the colors, which run from 0 to 15 $! represents the first word you type after typing the aias trigger, so the actual popup in Aliases would look like this: /hugc 2(((4(((7(((8((((12(((13(((4 $1 13)))12)))9)))8)))7)))4)))2))) So copy and paste that line in aliases, click OK to save, then type /hugc name in a channel. EDIT: The blocks didn't show, before each number, you must press the CTRL key, Press CTRL+K then the #, then release both. CTRL+K for color, CTRL+B for bold, CTRL+I for italics and CTRL+U for underlined text.
