  1. Dottie I'm going to miss you, we have been friends for quite a few years now, but I understand and respect your wishes to move on and spend more time with your husband and your wonderful family. I am going to miss our nightly chats and I am going to miss your happy and always kind words in #Koachsworkshop. You have more patience and tact than I shall ever have I'm sure. I also thank you for your friendship and support especially over the past couple of years when things for me were somewhat torrid.

I'm sure you'll be back to chat with us now and then, and I know that you and I shall continue as friends for a long time to come.

  2. I find it interesting, or perhaps just very sad, that people actually fall for these charlatans who predict the end of the world constantly, or that a country is evil, and other such things done in the name of Christianity.

Anyway I'm still here so I guess I wasn't in the chosen ones who got to go to Rapture, wherever that is. So I'll carry on as usual and not trust those crazy people and feel very sorry for those who do.

  3. Dawn, my thoughts are with you and your family right now. The loss of someone we love is always hard to deal with. The loss of a parent is huge, they were the first people we knew. I've found from personal experience, that the loss of a grandparent for a small child can be pretty devastating. Please pass on my condolences to Jimmy and the children as well as the rest of the family.

  4. Moli is 13 and getting on, I carried her home in the palm of my hand when she was 5 weeks old. She is a chihuahua-shizu cross.

Laylah is a pedigree Tibetan Spaniel and only 3.5 years so still a bit of a puppy really, she's very funny and has a great personality.

  5. This is really yummy and very easy to do and serves two people:

    Ingredients:

Pork Chops or Pork steak (your choice)

One Apple - cored and thinly sliced

Two Pears - cored and thinly sliced

    1/4 cup of Honey

1/2 to 1 cup of vegetable stock

    Salt and Pepper to taste

    Method:

Place the pork in a large saucepan and brown on all sides

Add sliced apple and pears, honey, stock, salt and pepper

when this comes to the simmer, cover and cook approximately 40 minutes on low heat

Serve with your choice of vegetables or salad and enjoy
