Julius Henry (Hank) Reinhardt (January 18, 1934 -- October 30, 2007 was an American author, editor, science fiction fan, and noted authority on medieval weapons. He also founded the Historical Armed Combat Association and branches of the Society for Creative Anachronism in Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. Much of Reinhardt's writing was non-fiction dealing with the design, manufacture, and use of weaponry in the middle-ages. "The Age of the Warrior" is an ambiguous title, pertaining to the era in which a warriors ware key to the survival of civilization as well as to the chronological age of the protagonist. It is a study in loyalty and courage, and I feel certain you will appreciate its portrayal of a man of honor. The story can be read on line, or downloaded in any convenient e-book format.
