The story was originally published in The Dragon Book edited by Jack Dann and Gardner Dozois 2009. The story is an hilarious, fantastic romp through a brief period of Roman history coincident with Julius Caesar's Gallic War. It gives new meaning to the introductory lines of Casear's report on his conduct of the war: "Veni, vide, vici." I think you will love the story.
