Anderson was one of the most prolific and respected writers of speculative fiction (fantasy and science fiction) during the second half of the 20th century. He died of cancer in 2001. This story has the feel of those ancient Norse and Olde English legends of heros, warriors, trolls and dragons. I think all will enjoy it.
