We had several new Readers Chatters join us for this chat of The Last Lesson ... and I hope it was not their last chat ! There was quite an interesting historical discussion of the territory Alcase and its occupation - and what it must have been like for the residents. We had some hypothesizing about 'what happened' to characters beyond the story, and of course discussed the story itself.
