Smiley Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Please join us at 8:30 P.M. (EDST) on September 6th, 2014 (0030 August 24th (GMT), in #readers_corner, for a discussion of the short story Crocodile by John Barlow. The story is a contemporary, not yet published work, used by permission of the author. John Barlow is an acquaintance of our very own Nan, and she talked him into providing this humorous Australian tale for our edification and discussion. The story is not available on line, so members of our Readers_Corner group have a unique opportunity to read it before actual publication. Thanks to Nan, the author has provided us with a .pdf, attached below, which you can open and read (or print out) with adobe acrobat. As I told Nan when she gave me the story, anything involving Aussies and Crocodiles has to be an interesting/entertaining tale. If you don't like the story, blame Nan. Smiley Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 Through Nan's good graces we have secured John Barlow's agreement to attend our discussion of his story Crocodile. It's an opportunity that we don't get very often. Let's give him a warm welcome.
