Administrators Koach Posted August 17, 2022 Administrators Report Share Posted August 17, 2022 Apparently, my grandfather was about as attentive in class as I was. This letter is from 1905. The teacher was not fooled lol.

Lizzie
I would suspect that too. The thing is I have letters and cards going back to the late part of the 1800s with writing and signatures that look like that. People today fail to understand that back then a large portion of the population was in fact illiterate in the US. Gramps might have attempted to pull a fast one, then again maybe he did not. I am shocked the writing on that paper is still legible. Most of mine is hard to see.
Administrators Koach Posted September 9, 2022 Author Administrators Report Share Posted September 9, 2022 I just noticed that the teacher didn't even get the last name right. Should be Roberson, not Robinson lol
