What bothers me somewhat is the talk of the "second wave". I hope we don't have one as some other places have, so I believe by staying home as much as possible, is a good thing to do, because some people are of the "it won't happen to me", or "it's just another flu" and so forth and those people really scare me because I bet they don't take any measures to ensure they keep themselves or others safe

that looks good Stormy, and I like the pan it's cooked in, is it cast iron ? I cooked corn bread once quite a long time ago after Dottie gave me a recipe, it was good.

It is with great sadness that we advise the passing of one of our much loved and respected member of the ircop team Picker aka Smiley. He passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at his home, with his wife by his side. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 29, 1943 and he served his country in the U.S. Army with over 23 years of service and served tours in Korea and Vietnam. Talking in #kws tonight about the wildlife that has suffered due to the bushfires in Australia, I was reminded of a friend who took a series of photos while doing a story for one of our tv channels. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well here's a few thousand words.

It's still opening, not sure how far it will go, but this is today

Yesterday a lady I have had the pleasure to meet recently and become friends with, dropped around to my house with a Christmas gift for me, a single lily that she has grown. Apparently each year she hands a lily to some of her friends and I got on the list this year. It was completely closed when it was delivered and she has told me that it will open fully in a day or so and that it is a beautiful white lily that sometimes glows in the dark at night. Here are some photos of it so far: just starting to open this morning then later today as it is continuing to open. I'll post more as it changes.
